Cecil Park - OD1219 Watermain Installation
Pipeline Install NSW was engaged as a one-stop-shop for the scope of installing 750m of OD1219 Steelmains water main. Pipeline Install NSW is responsible for engaging the welding team, inspection crews, and procuring all materials besides the large pipe and fittings.
The nature of the works called for many planning, construction, and consultation meetings to be held. Due to the 13.5 m lengths and size of the pipework some innovative engineering controls had to be fitted to the excavators scheduled for the site. The solutions provide the best value for money while holding safety as the highest priority. The completion of the job is being held to a strict and tight deadline, challenging the team and forcing some creative and collaborative solutions to be implemented.
