Macarthur WFTP - Water Main Leak repair
Staff from Macarthur WFTP noticed a damp section of paddock during a drought. They identified there must have been a leak and proposed where they thought it would be leaking.
Pipeline Install NSW was engaged to fix the leak. This included planning the works for a couple of likely scenarios and a contingency plan in case the pipe was in bad condition. Once the procurement was completed, the leak area was excavated and the leak was identified. The leak was one of the likely scenarios Pipeline Install NSW had planned for and successfully repaired.
The work also included the installation of precast plinths, pit walls, and roof structure with an access lid. The sample point for the water main was also re-instated.
